The Day Which Shall Not Be Named

The day which shall not be named is approaching this weekend. A day that is the source of immense pain for women facing infertility. Families and children are every where all of the time but then to add a special day of celebration is like reopening a wound. I am so grateful that I get to celebrate this day. It is always in my mind how close a call it was that I would not be celebrating this holiday. If you have children please take a moment this weekend to think about the women out there who are still waiting for their families. The women who have tried and failed or tried and lost. Our friends that are waiting to be matched with babies or are matched with their babies and waiting to bring them home from the other side of the world. We are walking for these women who want nothing more than to be celebrating this weekend with their children.
